HOMETOWN:  Estill County, Kentucky.
OTHER RESIDENCE:  Pennsylvania.  North Carolina.  
DATE OF BIRTH:  March 1755 in Easton, Pennsylvania.
PARENTS:  Christina Catherina Deitz and Lewis Winkler.
                                                                                                                             
SPOUSE:  Susannah.  Married in 1778 in Rowan County, North Carolina.
                                                                                 GRANDSON:  Simpson Winkler, a Union Army, American Civil War Soldier. 
GREAT-GREAT-GREAT-GRANDSON:  Ralph W. Miller (1923-2013), of Estill County and Perry County, U. S. Army, Wounded In Action, World War II.  Ralph married Dalton G. Combs, daughter of Juda Brashear and Ulysses Grant Combs, Sr.  Ralph was buried at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, Jessamine County, Kentucky.  [Ralph’s data was listed in the World War II section of Perry County, Kentucky on my website.]

DATE OF DEATH:  1 July 1836 in Estill County, Kentucky.

SPOUSE:  Emeline Durbin.  Married 8 march 1865 in Estill County, Kentucky.
